FD performed a Level 1 energy audit for the campus of a private school with the goal to reduce energy costs for the school. Many low-cost energy conservation measures (ECMs) were identified, including adding space setbacks for heating and cooling space temperatures at night; resetting VAV systems to operate below a minimum 50% airflow when rooms were unoccupied; lighting controls (adding setbacks and occupancy sensors); and AHU discharge air temperature reset based on outside air conditions to reduce both cooling and reheat costs.   

FD found other HVAC issues during this energy audit and assisted the campus facility staff with implementing measures to increase indoor air quality.
