FD performed an energy audit to determine ways to reduce energy at a high-class resort facility. The most significant energy conservation measures (ECMs) were related to lighting. The facility had very little lighting control due to its age, and lighting fixtures were not the most efficient. LED fixture upgrades were recommended. There was also a significant exterior lighting component that was addressed with the client; however, site lighting (pool and grounds) was an important requirement to the client for guest satisfaction, creating ambience at night and security.
